LZB with brake module

For applications where there is a need to lock the motors outgoing axel when the motor is without air, we do offer a range of brake module equipped motors.

The brake serves usually as a safety to prevent turning/movement when the air motor lacks air pressure. In order to get the axel to turn again, air pressure needs to be available in the motor – hence the brake can be released and the motor can then turn. The brake is spring closed and air pressure open

Three models are available with brake:

For complete detailed technical information on the products, please download our Air Motor Catalog here below.

In addition to the motors we offer several options such as mounting flanges that makes the installation easier / faster / more flexible. We have vane kits for all models both for operations without lubrication (oil free air) and vane kits that needs lubrication. What to choose depends on the application, here the vanes can be changed if the application/requirements do change. Also various silencers can be ordered together with the motor to reduce the noise level.

Note there are also a large range of Standard as well as Stainless Steel LZB’s, as well as motors for low speed applications, please see the respective chapter to learn more.
